FREE ADVERTISING
There are many places to advertise for free. Often overlooked, are local sources available uniquely to you and your specific locale. These could include bulletin boards at schools, churches, grocery stores, laundromats, etc. You may also have local “shopper” type newspapers that have free or cheap ads. Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are also good places for FREE ADVERTISING.
A “signature” file on ALL of your outgoing emails should advertise for you, automatically and free.
If you are not PROUD ENOUGH of your Venture to have the link go out in ALL of your emails, get a new Venture that you CAN be proud to share with the world!
A signature box may also be used on some forums. DON’T SPAM!
Connect with people on Facebook. Post a YouTube Video. FREE. FREE. These could produce results for years. Free Advertising DOES WORK! Again, DON’T SPAM!
You may want to use offline or online classifieds (search for “free classifieds”)
Or even start your own free ad site ($24 upfront then only $14/month), and everyone who posts ads are ON YOUR MAILING LIST, plus all your ads are included!
Some people use safelists. I think they are worthless (unless you happen to own it). Junk Mail to Junk Mail.
Traffic exchanges can produce some results if used properly. Many who actually click and search, ARE NOT looking for anything but free visitors to their site, not products or opportunities, unless that product will help them get free or cheap visitors to their sites.
Some that I do use occasionally are Traffic Swarm, Click Voyager, Top Surfer, and EZHits4U
Usually, what I am advertising to these folks are viral marketing tools like So Many Hits, or VTrafficRush or Traffic Sword or LAD15.
There also is one that is NOT FREE INITIALLY but will advertise for you wherever you go is Stickers on your car. They can be bumper stickers for as low as $2 each
or even full window or magnetic signs costing about $25 each (I put 3 on my van for $31 total). They advertise for me while in traffic, at the mall, at work (if you still have one of those “JOBS”), at restaurants, etc.
Please let others know what works for you. Thanks.
