\nThis is merely an address. It can be letters, numbers, and a few other markings (like _ or -) or a combination.
\nGenerally, shorter is better. The simpler you make it, the easier it will be to brand.
\nBut think about this. How many of these do you recognize that DID NOT EVEN EXIST<\/strong> a few short years ago?
\nGoDaddy, Zappos, YouTube, Google, Lad15<\/a>, ClickBank, Groove-Guy<\/a>, Twitter, Craigslist, Angieslist, PayPal, Facebook, Ebay, Amazon, and many many more.<\/p>\n

Now after serious branding and popularity, you now recognize many (or all) of the above names, and their primary products or services. INSTANTLY!
\nThe only one up there that was actually listed in the 1990 Webster’s Dictionary is Amazon, as a large river in South America.
\nAny of them could have been named zipzip, or BlueFlamingo, or xokbot. Have fun with your name, and then build around it.<\/p>\n

A domain name is transportable.<\/strong> What that means is that if you buy a domain name from GoDaddy, you can change the DNS (Domain Name Server) at GoDaddy to point to any place where you have a hosting account, such as JustHost<\/a> or HostGator<\/a>, or you can just re-direct it to an affiliate site you may have, without having hosting, making a much more “reader friendly” link.\u00a0 Average cost is about $10 – $15 per YEAR!<\/p>\n

Which is easier to advertise? Spend a couple of bucks and go professional.<\/p>\n

It also makes it cheaper to advertise at work, in traffic, at the mall, out to dinner, etc:\"\"<\/a>If you happen to change opportunities in the future, simply change your re-direct, and all of your advertising still works!<\/p>\n
